Why this is SO good:

Smoky and limey, this Guac is the best kind of extra. It comes together quick, and gets gone quick too. Just a handful of ingredients and you are ready to fiesta.

Ingredients:

3 ripe avacados
1 small yellow onion, diced up finely
2 roma tomatoes, diced (and the seeds and jelly-like stuff removed)
3 TBSP fresh cilantro, finely chopped
1/2 jalapeno, diced up finely, seeds removed
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 lime, juiced
1/2 tsp Smoky Chipotle Pacific Sea Salt (to taste, really)

How to make it:

  1. Slice the avocados in half, take out the pit, and scoop it into a mixing bowl.

  2. Mash it until it’s as smooth as you’d like.

  3. Add the diced onions, tomatoes, the 3 TBSP chopped cilantro, the diced jalapeno, the 2 minced garlic cloves, 1/2 the lime juice, and the 1/2 tsp Smoky Chipotle Pacific Sea Salt. Give it a good mix!

  4. Add more lime juice or Smoky Chipotle Salt to taste, serve as your heart desires!

How to store it:

In an airtight container in the fridge. Secret: pat the guac down so it’s flat in the container, and cover with about 1/2 inch of cold water. To serve, drain off the water and stir!

So, what if:

My avocodos are small. Ok, just use 4 or 5 small avocados then! If you live in FL the avocados are always giant, and in the midwest they’re usually a bit squatty. So, adjust accordingly!

Can I forget about the jalapeno? For sure. I don’t like things to be super spicy, so I leave them out if I’m just not feeling it. Still super delicious!

I want to use bottle lime juice. I mean, the world won’t end BUT the fresh lime makes a huge difference. Huge. It’s worth a run to the store!
